REQUIREMENTS:
• Education:
Masters or bachelor of science degree in Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, such as Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering.
• Working Experience:
8-10 years of working experience preferably either in the Engineering Plastics and/or Polyurethane industry especially in the areas of sales and/or market/application development for the automotive industry especially covering Japanese OEMs/Tiers. A Japanese native would be preferred.
• Technical & Professional Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge and experience of engineering plastics, polyurethane and TPU technical know-how and automotive applications would be highly advantageous. Tooling, Plastics Compounding and Application Development experiences would be highly desirable as well.
• Languages:
English and Japanese is a pre-requisite.
• Travel:
Frequent travel within Greater China as well as occasional visits to Japan is required.

JOB OBJECTIVES:
• The primary function of this role is to implement sales & marketing strategy for Japanese Transplant Key Account Management within Performance Materials Greater China and support transfer projects, new project/business development and customer management by strengthening and extending contacts with existing and potential customers in alignment with the regional Japanese Transplant Team.
• Key Account Management for Toyota, Aisin, Aisan, Alpha etc. Apply and implement Key Account guidelines for their contracted molders e.g. quarterly reports, regional and global exchange sessions, GKAM hierarchy, etc.
• Actively develop projects with assigned Key Accounts and ensure/provide appropriate technical support for assigned Japanese OEMs and Tiers.
• Provide input for account plan, pricing strategy and market intelligence.
• Conduct and develop the business according to the regional strategy and objectives in line with regional and local Code of Conduct principles.
• Develop and implement Best Business Practices.
